Masterpiece Sculpture!
The muskox is one of my favourite mammals.
Kelly's muskox sculptures are distinctly his own.
Like Mountaineer, Kelly's carvings are powerful but gentle giants.
They often have an alien quality which I find fascinating.
But it is Kelly's dedication to meticulous detail that define his muskox pieces.
Examine Mountaineer's muzzle, horns and headpiece and his long flowing thick coat and you will understand why Kelly's Muskox are spectacular.
Kelly does not carve many Muskoxen.
This piece would be "something to talk about" in your collection.
