I love how Markoosie sculpts a plump hind end for this sweet dancing bear and adorns it with an artful crisp little tail.
It's a small component of the sculpture, for sure but it's proof of Markoosie's commitment to his trade.
Markoosie is one of my go to carvers.
Like you, I want to be awed.
There must be beauty and and sometimes a quirkiness.
And. I insist on quality.
But most of all, I want to feel a bond with the piece.
