Masterpiece Sculpture! Museum quality Carving!
I have been honoured to carry many Pudlalik Shaa carvings over the years.
His sculptures can be both dramatic and delightful all in the same breath.
His geese, in particular, are often sculpted in the most striking poses.
*Ready For Takeoff* is a proud, muscular goose with wings fully outstretched!
I love how Pudlalik has the bird looking over his right shoulder (wing?) to make sure he is cleared for takeoff!
This neon deep apple green embroidered with veins of white, is fast becoming my favourite stone.
It is vibrant and charged with electricity. The perfect colour for such a proud bird.
Did you notice how Shaa has carefully defined the lower end of each of the wing feathers?
This is an artist who loves his craft and his subject.
Every collector should have a Shaa goose in their collection.
What an unforgettable wedding present this sculpture would be.
