CURATOR'S CHOICE
Adamie has selected a pure flawless black stone to carve this raptor family.
Every line and curve of these birds is showcased by the blackness.
Then, I love the emotions carved into the pieces. The birds are surprised but are not intimidated..The owlet on the far left, in particular seems self assured and ready to meet the demands of the world.
Finally, it is uncommon to have so many birds (3) in one sculpture. For these reasons, Hands Up is a CURATOR'S CHOICE.
Masterpiece Carving! Magnificent Movement!
Our Owl family looks to have been caught offguard!
Hands Up!
But no respectable Raptor family is going to be intimidated but a surprise.
I have great respect for these large flying carnivores.
Owls are a revered subject for many Inuit artists.
I appreciate the Owl's incredible beauty and their warrior spirits.
Where would you place this magnificent family of Owls?
Maybe on your kitchen island where you could see them beak to face every day.
